Maki Maclean

Maki is the co-owner of The English Studio.
She's also a teacher, mother, wife, and astronaut.
(Well, okay, one of those things is not true!)

Douglas DeLong

Douglas is the co-owner of The English Studio.
He is from America and has been teaching English in
Japan for about 14 years (about half his life!)
He is not very good at math.

Hidemi Okano

Hidemi teaches children's classes at The English Studio.
Her nickname is Heidi. Why is her nickname Heidi?
Nobody knows.

Keith Maclean

Keith teaches adults and kids at The English Studio.
He once roller skated across Canada when his car broke down.
Coincidentally, he has the same last name as Maki!

Naoko Nogami

Naoko is the most fantastic secretary in Japan!
She helps students and teachers and is also
in charge of feeding the fish. She speaks great English
but her Italian is not so good.

Hannah Maclean

Hannah is the official English Studio baby. Her job is to look
as cute as possible. Next month she will start
teaching English to other babies.

Naomi Maeda

Naomi teaches kids at The English Studio. She used to live in Ghana.
She once rode an elephant down Momotaro Street.
(Okay, that's not true. It was a giraffe.)

Ahmad Tijani

Ahmad teaches adults on the weekend. He has 3 children,
but only one wife. He also plays in a rock band and used to be
a member of the Rolling Stones!
